The Pearl is situated in suburban West Bridgford . Firmly established as one of the best Cantonese restaurants in the region the Pearl continues to improve, setting the trends in both design and cuisine.

The Pearl has just under gone a major refurbishment. This sees the entrance moving to Bridgford Road from Stratford Road providing a lovely Eastern outdoor seating area. The emphasis has been to put the Oriental back into the Pearl. Antique wooden screens, authentic and intricacy carved dark wooden tables with complimentary low seating and mood lighting gives the Pearl an opulently sensual feel.

The ground floor bar serves stylish cocktails, world beers, and bar food and is furnished with beautiful silks and Oriental art in traditional Chinese fashion completing the Shanghai feel. The Skyline lounge provides a choice of casual bar dining during the day and A La Carte during the evenings all served against a backdrop of sumptuous suede & Chinese silk banquet seating. The upstairs "A la Carte" contemporary restaurant, donned with Chinese lanterns and Oriental furnishings is divided into three dining areas perfect for either that romantic meal or group get together. A real smasher in the food stakes, this place has managed to successfully combine all the buzz of a little local joint with the panache of a proper city eaterie which makes it a winner when it comes to a different night out. Don't go expecting people in party hats, but do expect a top quality Chinese meal in smart surroundings.
