The Pearl is situated in suburban West Bridgford . Firmly established as one of the best Cantonese restaurants in the region the Pearl continues to improve, setting the trends in both design and cuisine.
When The Pearl in West Bridgford was re-opened in June 2000 we had two clearly defined objectives; that was to change the image of Chinese restaurants from the old fashioned “norm” into a modern contemporary form and introducing Cantonese food to a new generation. With the introduction of a stylish bar and a contemporary setting, coupled with excellent service and food we feel we have taken Cantonese cuisine to another level.
The Pearl has just under gone another major refurbishment in July 2006. This sees the entrance moving to Bridgford Road from Stratford Road providing a lovely Eastern outdoor seating area. The emphasis has been to put the Oriental back into the Pearl. Antique wooden screens, authentic and intricacy carved dark wooden tables with complimentary low seating and mood lighting gives the Pearl an opulently sensual feel.
